Sorry it has taken me a few days to get back to you. Last week of undergrad is really hectic. I just wanted to let you know that I got the calligraphy last week, and after fighting myself to give it to Cravixha a week early and keeping it hidden from her, I finally gave it to her yesterday. I absolutely LOVED the way you gave focus to the first, middle , and last lines of each verse. I think that helps a lot when reading a Passage that is usually sung. Sharon, I am so sorry I haven't been in touch. The calligraphy was absolutely beautiful. The baby put up a fight getting her handprint on it, but we finally succeeded the day before the wedding. My daughter cried when we gave it to them at the reception. I found an amazing frame for it and I will send a picture the next time I am there. It is hanging on the wall in the living room. My wedding envelopes have just arrived. I have to tell you that they are not what I expected. I thought that they would be pretty, and that I would be pleased with the way they turned out.

Dear Sharon,
The design was delivered when I was home sick on Thursday. It is very
beautiful, and the colors are perfect. It was well packaged and arrived in
perfect shape. The mail lady brought it to my door since she saw my car was there,
and said she'd been looking at the hand lettered address all day in her truck , and how beautiful it was.
So of course I opened it in front of her! and we both marveled at it.
We stood in the sunshine at my door and saw the gold glow to illuminate your work....
I hated to say goodbye to it to get it framed on Friday. I chose a thin gold leaf frame, very plain. It will be ready to give on Easter.
I hope to take a photo when I go up there, to send to you. My co-workers saw it
on Friday morning, and all agreed that Paul very well could have had in mind
to encourage a family with 4 teenagers when he was writing to the Philippians.
Funny, 2 folks thought I wrote it; they didn't recognize the verse.
How did you choose which words to bring out from the body of the verse with illumination?
I have another, larger project in mind, too. Is there a time of year when you are least busy, and could take on something very big?? at least 3X3.
...I thank you for bringing my idea into being so that it could be handed over.
If not for you it would still be just an idea, but now it is tangible, beautiful,
and as my coworkers said, "everlasting".

I requested a custom piece for my sister in law for her new baby daughter. I sent Sharon the text and theme of fairies and a picture of my niece, Kathryn, shocking red hair and bright blue eyes.
